We have recently started working with the local Lions Club to provide them with glasses for St. Louisans in need. Eight of our student members are participating in global mission trips to Mexico, Jamaica, South Africa, Thailand, and Ecuador. Finally, we have revamped our storage facility and have added over 2,000 pairs of glasses that will be used for future trips. With our help in 2011, we will have given the gift of sight to over 10,000 people. It is amazing how rewarding all of this hard work and dedication has been. |
