permanent clinic
March, 2006 Same 2986 exams, 1800 glasses, full exams 286 kids, making 174 pairs of spectacles at our Guanajuato lab (approximately 120) or our lab at the school in Bloomington. The kids were running around 70 to 80% true positives so who ever they were screened before us worked well. The students will be summarizing the specifics on pathology by the end of April and I will send you those details then. Each patient gets prelimins including version, pupils and cover test and then undilated ophthalmoscopy. Approximately 20 to 25% go to our disease station which has all the regular clinical equipment including this year even an scanning laser ophthalmoscope. Approximately 300 people were referred to our year round clinic. That three hundred does not include people we recommended should be seen annually like diabetics. 2006 Report
