Vasco R. Oguzua ( This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it ): Seeking eye care in Uganda
After reading through the website of VOSH International, I found your worldwide activities to be very compelling, especially in your commitment to improve eye care for the needy and less privileged in rural communities. I would like to inquire how Nile Care Inc a non-profit organization whose mission is to assist less privileged community in the West Nile Region of Uganda. This region which has a population of about 2 million has very few health facilities that cater for eye care, moreover the few that offer some kind of eye care have very few and outdated eye care equipments that do not meet the demands of eye care in the region.
I would like to find out what would be required for Nile Care Inc to partner with your organization to take the kind of services you have already provided in many third world countries to The West Nile region of Uganda. For more information about Nile Care Inc can be obtained from the url: http://nilecare.net/.
I look forward to the opportunity of discussing this issue with you in further detail. I can be reached at 240-351-6652.
Sincerely,
Vasco R. Oguzua
President, Nile Care Inc

This clinic will include cataract surgery, glaucoma testing/treatment, vision screening and reading glasses. I am looking for optometrists who are interested in participating. Due to the economic crisis fund raising has been very difficult. Because of that we are asking participants to pay their own airfare. Airfare is around $700. To learn more about our organization please click on the link below. You can read about our work, who we are and what we do. Please have any interested optometrists contact me directly.
