CHAPTER DUES:

A. Each State/Region Chapter shall pay $100/year membership dues no earlier than October1st and no later than December 31st.
B. Each State/Region Chapter is encouraged to make an annual per capita donation to VOSH/International on behalf of each member.

• DUTIES OF VOSH/INTERNATIONAL
  
  
• Partner with Optometry Giving Sight (OGS) to develop sustainable clinics and support optometry schools abroad.
• Provide funding for sustainable projects through OGS.
  
• Establish new chapters and recruit membership.
• Manage a website, electronic news, newsletter, survey and annual report.
  
• Manage incoming email with a capability of responding within 24 hours.
• Organize SVOSH chapters.
  
• Post upcoming missions and reports.
  
• Collect/refurbish equipment for schools/clinics through the Technical Transfer Program.
  
• Conduct business and share information at the Annual Meeting with chapter delegates.
  
• Conduct exam for FVI (Fellow of VOSH/International).
  
• Award VOSH/International Humanitarian Of The Year.
  
• Support as dues paying members at the World Council of Optometry (WCO) and VISION2020.
  
• Partner with American Optometric Association (AOA) Surgical Eye Expeditions (SEE), FUDEM, ASAPROSAR, ICEE.
  
• Maintain visibility of VOSH/International at optometry meetings in the exhibit hall .
  
• Board of Directors and staff representing chapters volunteer.
