| • | VOSH-SOS (Peru) is taking part in a major illiteracy program supported by the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Health, INO (National Ophthalmology Institute), Lions Club , Loayza Hospital and local practitioners. Seventy seven thousand patients, were expected to be examined in 2007. |

| • | REIMS program for sorting eyeglasses is gaining popularity. System was used in August by faculty and students from The New England College of Optometry in El Salvador.
